The more states that put the Fed on notice that they will not support any further degradation of the 2A the clearer it is there is insufficient support for the Anti program.
The easier it is for us to cite that states have made the extreme effort of voting to not support Anti legislation. This helps invalidate the statements by Antis that the majority of Americans support gun control.

There wasn't a vote--he just made a proclamation
Not sure the wishy washy unicam would actually vote for this but I do support the governor in his efforts.

Without something actually being done by the legislature it isn't the same as those states who have made the commitment.
