need 308 help

hi yall just picked up a savage model 10 cal. 308 win. ser # g992066

anyway i cant find the gun online anywhere, anybody tell me anything about it.. and possible price?

Looks like the Model 11 package gun I just got, the only differences being that you have the accutrigger and mine has a detachable magazine. Excellent shooter with 150gr Remington Core Lokts.

Accutrigger Model 10s with the el-cheapo scope usually bring 350-375 used

you done good, savage is a fine rifle. If the scope holds zero and has a sharp image (edge to edge) leave it on there

thanks for the replies, got to shoot it today and it will hit 3 shots inside a 1" circle at 100yds even with my shaky hands

if that was a package deal, the scope is probably a cheapie Simmons or Bushnell, OK I guess, but if u get a chance put a good scope on there, believe me. I got a cheeap Stevens 200 7mm-08 with a good Nikon,Ishoot dime groups all the time. for a few bucks u can put a Redfield, Bushnell elite 3200 and u will have a helluva dependable shooter.

the scope is a cheap barska.... it dont even say what power it is lol BUT it did do ok today thanks

ehh. its a good gun. id swap the stock out for a b&c. but thats just me

save time and perhaps a good deer (or whatever) dump the Barska and get a quality, reasonable price scope, you wont regret it.
