I'm going to be doing some reloads for a Desert Eagle 50. I have a 44 Desert Eagle and I know it requires hot loads to prevent stovepiping and wasn't sure what powder and charge to use. I will be loading 300 grain jacketed bullets. I was thinking about going with v-n110. There is a 3.3 grain spread between min and max. My Lee manual only shows 4 powders, three are Vihtivouri. I don't think I want to go with v-n105 as there is less than a 2 grain spread for it. Is 27 grains of v-n110 enough to reliably function in a Desert Eagle? Thanks for any input.
