Need 7.62x25 Tokarev load info.

This is a bit out of the ordinary, but wondering if anyone here has load info for the Tokarev using the Sierra 125 gr Match King flat base (#2121) . I have a Match Grade Machine 12" Contender barrel on it's way to me and want to experiment with it. Barrel a .308 bore, 1-12" twist rate. Thanks

That's a long bullet for that short case. Will there be any room left for powder???

I see some 7.62x25 loads for things a bit lighter:
110gr FMJ 308 bullet, 9.5gr Alliant 2400
110gr FMJ 308 bullet, 5.2gr Unique

115gr lead loads were similar. You'd want to use less power than this for a heavier bullet.

What sort of gun are you using ? I love that round, very powerful and flag trajectory. Great for longer range.

Thanks Suemarkp. I've seen some absurd sounding loads for this round for the Contender including 180 to 200 gr Sierras @ sub-sonic speeds. The flat base 125 should have enough room for decent performance. I'll post any results I get.

Renton83. The gun is the TC Contender. I like the round too and have shot a bunch of it through my CZ52 pistol. The round really sizzles. I'll mostly be shooting factory or equivalent loads, but just want to experiment.
