I'm new to reloading, I FINALLY got the shell plate for my Hornady LNL AP for .223. I initially had it set up for .308, and didn't realize the pain in the posterior it was to switch over. Well, The dies are in, after much trial and error, didn't realize a lot of things, (particularly how much trouble switching the primer feeder was!). Now, the problem is, although it runs through pretty smooth, the case neck is too small (Winchester .223 new brass) for the Hornady (.224) bullets I'm trying to cram in them - I suspect die #1 (deprimer/sizer) isn't doing it's job correctly, I admit I'm a little nervous about setting it after the horrible experience with stuck cases on the .308 die. I'd hate to have to go through that with the much more fragile looking .223 die. Any help as to what I need to do?
