Need a new gunbelt

I have been looking to upgrade my gunbelt for cc and am thinking about purchasing from The Beltman or Rafter S. I am particularly interested in their sharkskin belts. Are these guality manufacturers? Also, the Beltman's sharskin belt is about $45 more. Is his belts that much better?

I have a Rafter S rig

I bought a complete rig from them and I love it! Best belt I have ever owned. It is in black sharkskin. I got the holster, belt and mag pouch. The workmanship is fantastic.

They are nice people and very nice to deal with. They will, however, charge your credit card right from the start. I find this OK as they are making me a custom item.

They got me my rig in just about 6 weeks. I have heard lately they are busier and the lead time may be longer. I would not hesitate to order one again. In fact, I need a new Glock holster. I might have to give them a call today.

Honestly, it is the best belt I have owned for gun use. And the Sharkskin seems to wear like iron.

Just to add complication to your decisions I ordered a new bull leather belt from the Beltman earlier this year and am very pleased with the product and the customer service.

I would recommend them to my friends -- without hesitation.

Good luck in your choice, sounds like you won't go wrong either way.

Thanks for the replies fellas. The bullhide belt from The Beltman is my second choice after the sharskin.

Dravur, that is a really nice rig. I just need the belt, but after seeing that, I may purchase a complete rig like yours.
