Anyone dealt with them? looking into maybe buying a gun from them having it sent to a local dealer.. just wondering is they were a good place to buy from?

They have a retail store here in town, even has an indoor range. Other than being "Mall-Ninja Central & Supply" they seem alright. I think you should be safe buying from them.

I ordered some gun blue and a couple SiG P226 mags from them. Took weeks to ship the gun blue. Took months to ship the mags. I will not deal with them again. Just my $0.02. Your mileage may vary.

ImpactGuns is a great business with very nice employees and good to very good prices. They have an indoor range / shop in Boise and I've purchased several firearms from them.

I highly recommend them, if the item you want to purchase isn't in stock I'd give them a call and see what their ETA is, sometimes it can be a week or so for them to get it.

I'd ordered a PTR-91 from their website, to be delivered to my local FFL. They said they had a 2-4 week lead time on it. Two months later, after not hearing a peep, I'd called them and they said that the PTRs were not being made anymore, and that I'd never be able to buy one new. So, I called J. L. Denter's number, and he said I could get one from him, direct.

Impactguns has a great website. That's about the only good thing I can say about them.

I ordered ct grips for a glock 17 they sent me ones for a sub compact frame. Average turn around on e-mail took a week. Phone calss where a joke.
the right ct laser came 2 months after initial order. Then they charged me twice after they got the first set back. That was the first and last time they got my $

if you do order something from them, do it over the phone. They are pretty bad about being Out of Stock and not saying so on their website. I've ordered quite a few things from them and they have always been prompt. however, I always spring for the expensive shipping, as I am an impatient bastard. the one time I did order with their cheapy shipping, I recall it did take like two weeks.

Their internet orders are from the Ogden store, not the Boise store.

The Boise store is news to me, but I REALLY hope they employ more knowledgeable 19 year-old kids to work the counter there than they do here. They have a few knowledgeable guys that stay around, but they cyccle through a lot of guys who are big on opinions and small on knowledge. When I rent a Nighthawk to shoot, it shouldn't jam because it hasn't been cleaned.

As far as the order process, obviously I've never had to do it, but keep in mind, this isn't a giant business with a vast warehouse and an army of technicians and 'customer service' reps. They are just as vulnerable to supply and demand as the rest of us. DO call first and confirm whether or not your items are in-stock.

Their prices are good, they have what I'm looking for more often than not, and in all fairness, most people who order high-end gear already know what they want and why they want it, so they aren't asking the kids for advice anyway. Why pay professionals real money when there is an endless supply of rookies who are thrilled to work in a place that smells like cordite for $7.50 an hour?

Employees at the Boise store are all very friendly and helpful. Haven't met one that didn't say hi and how can I help you. I have zero experience with ordering online from them but would not hesitate to purchase something in the shop.
