need a ready rack for my M-1 carbine

I'm using my m-1 carbine for a house gun at the moment but I would like to have a low budget locking rack to keep it in so that I can keep it in the bedroom
when no one is home but still secured. Any Idea's ?
 
GunVault I think it is, makes an under-bed rack that attaches to the frame. Not cheap.


Mossberg makes a closet wall mount that locks in place, however, it's fairly permanent.

A $25 "Lifejacket" gunlock that wraps around the action, with a steel cable wired to your bedframe, would "do" and be fairly cheap and keep it from walking off.

I've got one of their "Loc-Box"s. They're really quite nice, but there's no way it would work with an M1 carbine. They're for certain pump shotguns only.
