Go to the Hodgdon site, copy the data and work up a load for your rifle. Nobody else's data will be of any use to you in your rifle.

A friend's Father used to use IIRC 45.5 grains of BLC2 with a 165 Hornday bullet. He liked it.

I tried BLC2 in a couple of cartridges, including .300 Savage, .30-06, and .243, but didn't care for it all that much and went back to my tried and true loads with IMR powders.

Thanks for the replies. I'll work up a round from this 168 grain bullet data:

BL-C(2) 47.0 2754 50,200 CUP

Be advised, I'm using mil-surp powder where it is recommended I use BLC(2) data. I have 3.5 pounds of it.

I worked up a very good load for 150 grain bullets with this powder.
