Need advice for ROA stuck part.

I have ROA that has the pawl plunger stuck.

I've been soakin it fer a while with no success.
The spring is still in there but it is stuck in the plunger.
I can't push the plunger free from the spring end because the pawl has to be removed to allow clearence for the plunger to come out and with the plunger stuck where it's at,it prevents the pawl from bein removed.
I have replacement parts so i'm not concerned about damaging the existing spring or plunger.
Anyone know any 'kinks' for gittin this thing out ?

Sometimes you have to depress the plunger in as far as you can and then let the spring send it into orbit.

Other times there could be a burr that is preventing its removal.

Play with it. Push it in and out several times. Sometimes some rapping with a plastic mallet can help.
