How is the Taurus 709 Slim. 9mm.

Any problems, concerns ect...

we just got them in, so no info as of yet, thought I would see if anyone has one yet.

Now I don't believe no one has had any to do with the Taurus 709!?!

I have sold three of the SLIMS in my shop. Two of the guns had
the same issue with magazines that would not feed properly. We
had to remove the followers and use 400 grit sand paper to smooth
out the rough mold edges. We also had to bend out the lips of the
mags so the follower would travel to the top of the mag.
The third gun was returned to Taurus because the slide stop would
not hold the gun open on an empty mag. Taurus replaced the stop
and the gun functioned fine. However, they put a nice long scratch
on the stainless slide.

I don't have any personal experience with it but I remember seeing some threads about it. If you do a search you can find them. IIRC the member said his problems were due to a burr on the extractor.
