Hi,
A friend of mine recently shot my Burris 2-7x-30mm Pistol Scope w/ Electro-Dot reticle and said he'd like something similair for his AR. Obviously the pistol scope won't work because of the long eye relief. His weapon is an M4-style ar-15.
This would be sort of a do-it-all optic, sufficing for close range work but doing okay for mid-range work out to 300 yards too. He says he wants anywhere from a 1-3x to a 3-12x variable power, but he definitely wants the red dot reticle like mine has. His budget is $500.
I was thinking of sticking with burris and going with this model, from the signature select line. It's a 1.5-6x scope with the electro-dot reticle. Sound good?
