I'm looking for an extractor for a J C Higgins model 31. It's a semi auto that shoots s,l and lr. It has a sling that retracts into the stock. Pretty neat old gun and in real good shape.

It was made by High Standard for Sears.

There were three different extractor types used over the production run, so you will need to identify which type you have.

I had someone try to find the part but I dont know how hard he tried. I figured someone on here might have one or know where to find it. Your parts link didnt work for me. Thanks

This link should work.
As mentioned you need to figure out which extractor you have. Extractor, .22 Cal. (Claw Type) or Extractor, .22 Cal. (Flat Stamped Steel Type). Both seem to be available from Numrich Gun Parts Corporation.

You could just get one of each from Numrich,they shouldn't be that expensive.Just a thought !

Thanks Ron. I think I need the stamped on according to the guy that messed with it. I might order both and then I should get the right one!

Did these models have serial numbers? I cant find one so I went ahead and ordered both from Numrich.
