I got my Midway (large) bag today. Absolutely wonderful, and the price can't be beat. Rcmiller, if you're still looking, you won't be disappointed.

I purchased a small and large Bagmaster bag recently, and have been very pleased. They have several sizes, and at $54, this one may do the trick for you.

I can't speak for that specific bag, but I can say the two I purchased from Big Woods Goods (stopped in person to Atlanta so I can look them over in person) are heavy duty material, solid self repairing zippers, lots of room for magazines, and general high quality. Lifetime guarantee, good construction, US made. Worth a look.

two bags

I have two bags, one for rimfire and one for centerfire, whether rifle or handgun. The centerfire bag is an LLBean shotgunners range bag, they have two sizes to choose from. The rimfire bag is a S&W bag I received from S&W for having bought something from them, has end zippered pockets with big center section, does good.
But a tool bag can do the job.
Also, LLBean has canvas boat bags with zippered tops to them, they are practically indestructible.

I'm waiting for the bag I use now (picked up at at a show; one of the few good deals I've ever gotten at one) to die so I can replace it with the Midway bag. Two guys I know who have it swear they would buy it again in a heartbeat.
