I am going to buy one of these two Trijicon ACOG's, but do not know too much about them to make a informed decision. It is going to be about a week before I order one of them, but I would like to know which one would be the most useful in general terms. I don't shoot in any competitions or anything, but am looking for the most versatile.
I am looking at the TA11J: 3.5x35

or the TA31RMR: 4x32
http://www.trijicon.com/user/parts/products1.cfm?PartID=824&back_row=4&categoryID=3
I am going with the dual illuminated 9 MOA RMR's instead of the 4 MOA LED but these are the closest to what I am looking for. I just wanted the best all around optics that do not require batteries.
I am leaning towards the TA11, but am really open about either one of them. A friend said the TA11 was more versatile, but that's just one guys opinion. Realistically, I don't shoot more than 300yds, and more frequently its less then 200.
Thanks in advance for any help.
