I'm looking for a new gear bag, (I regularly shoot IDPA, IPSC, USPCA). I've looked at a few on the web but haven't been able to see many in person. Any recomendations?

I have Midwayusa's house brand range bag. It's very nice. A bit larger than most of the others you see used, but if that's a problem for you you can pull out the inner section and just take that.

If you want to see and touch them, go to Home Depot, Lowe's or Sears. I think many of the heavy duty, lots of pockets, tool bags are better than some of the lighter weight shooting bags.

Check out the bags from Dillon. They served my purposes very well. You may also check out a local law enforcement supply store for other options.

After using the Sears Craftsmans small black tool bags for a few years. I broke down and bought Midway's house brand bag for $40. It is big, but holds everything I need for matches neatly. I've only had it for two month, its well made and seems like it will hold up, time will tell. Good luck finding your bag.

Luis Leon

+1 on the Midway Bag. I also shoot IDPA, USPSA, and Action Pistol matches. Great bag, lots of space and pockets.

Enough room for 2 pistols, 14 magazines, small tools, 5 boxes of factory ammo, knee pads, elbow pads, work gloves, small can of peanuts, gatorade, magazine brush .... list goes on.

So far it's proven to be very durable as well. Plus the price is right.

I have one from Home Depot, been 2 years I believe. I take lots of extra holsters and mag holders for new guys since I shoot informal matches most of the time. Zipper is built much better than most other bags, bout $35 holds tools, ammo 3 hand guns and more!!!!!!!!!!!

I also have this one from CED

Two of them I won in matches. Of the three I like the CED one the best. It is a perfect size for me, not to big or small. It is well constructed and has enough pockets to store everything I need on the range.

Shooters Connection bags are easily the most common ones I see with our regular USPSA shooters.

I have the CED bag and it's held up ok so far. A buddy has the MidwayUSA bag, it's a cheap made-in-china knockoff of the Shooters Connection bag but for it's $30 sale price it's hard to beat if you don't shoot a lot.
