Need help figuring the difference between two Taurus revolve

Hi,

Can anyone tell me the difference between these two .32 H&R snubbies?
731SH2cTi and 731TB2cTi

I have found a dealer with a price difference of $60 between the two and am wondering why since they are both supposed to be all Titanium.

Thanks,

John from MD

The Taurus website lists only 3 .32H&R Mag snubbies

Model: 731SHC
TOTAL TITANIUM, .32 MAGNUM, 6 RDS, REVOLVER IN SHADOW GRAY

Model: 731SSULC
ULTRA-LITE, .32 MAGNUM, 6 RDS, , REVOLVER IN STAINLESS STEEL

Model: 731TBC
TOTAL TITANIUM, .32 MAGNUM, 6 RDS, REVOLVER IN MATTE BLUE

The titanium models list for the same price and the ultra-lite is cheaper by about $100.

The only diffrence in the total ti models is the color shadow grey or

:barf: pimp-meister blue :barf:

If you get one don't forget the range report !

I wonder why Bud's gunshop would have the TBC as costing more than the SHC if it is only the finish. Can it be that the Gray finish is something more durable?

I'll post a range report when I get one. I am trying to trade a Beretta for one right now. If I can't trade, I'll buy it outright.

The taurus revolvers are selling good what do you guys think of using one for home protection would you trust them? FYI i'm not throwing down on the taurus I just have a new 850 CIA I trying to trust, it has been reliable but I here so much bad stuff about them it worries me.

I own several Taurus firearms and they are all reliable. The CIA problem may be that they didn't up the spring power when they lowered the mass on the bobbed hammer.

Are the Taurus revolvers as good as my S&W's? No but then again, they don't cost as much. I have given my Taurus firearms a good "fluff and buff" and they have all smoothed out as nice as my 'Smiths.

I carried a M85 for years until I went to a Smith M38. Now I am looking for a 731 Ti to take the place of the M38. Weight has alot to do with the change but I also like the extra round and reduced muzzle flip.

My brother has a S&W 36 and his wife has a Taurus 85.
The S&W is a little prettier than the Taurus. But not by much.

Both are well broken in so the trigger pulls are very close.

Both go bang each and every time you squeeze the trigger on a loaded round.

Both shoot to almost the same POA.

As I see it, in this case, one is just as good as the other.

I've been carrying a 650CIA for the past 2 years, and the wife liked it so much she demanded one of her own for Christmas. Haven't had a lick of problem out of either except when I tried to lighten my hammer spring too much.
