If you don't want the HXP, don't throw it away! As you've seen, a lot of us love the stuff and will stand in line to buy it. I don't need it, I already have a truckload, but it's good brass....don't toss it. The primers aren't really "crimped" like most milsurp, they're "staked" in place with three tiny punches, which clean up very easily. Much better than the full crimps of other milsurp brass.
But yeah, the FN and Korean, look inside with a flashlight to verify there's one primer flash hole. If there's two, it's Berdan primed, toss it in the scrap bucket. Berdan brass "can" be reloaded, but it's a huge pain and not worth it for something as common as .30-06.
