Im looking for a specific style of flashlight. ive seen it in a few gun magazine adds for the handgun they where promoting. anyways its a 90 degree head much like the old military lights but this one looked like a surefire style light aluminum, CR3 batterys etc...any leads?

The Zebralight is 200 lumens on a single AA battery. If you're looking for a powerhouse of a light on minimal battery capacity, that's the one. I also suggest looking at the Streamlight Sidewinder... I LOVE mine!

Thanks c0nspire! its the Polytac 90 by streamlight at 170 lumens also will be adding a zebralight to my C-card! love this forum

Zebralight also has a model that uses (1) CR123A battery. It is a little smaller than the AA model.

The most important thing, perhaps, is that the shelf life is much, much longer if you want to grab it from something like an emergency kit and have it work. I think the run time is longer as well.

For regular use, the AA battery model would offer the advantage of cheaper, easier to find batteries.
