Just received my VEPR-K in 7.62x39. Well made and impressive for the type weapon it is. I want to scope it to help these old eyes, and I've read that the AK type rifles need mounts that have some adjustment in them because the bases aren't always riveted to the receiver perfectly in line with the bore. What's a good, solid mount that has this capability? Anyone done this? Thanks.

POSP

I highly recommend POSP scopes. Made in Belarus, and designed to fit on the standard AK side mount, which I think the VEPR has. Very stable mount, and very sturdy scope.

The receiver cover type scope mounts do NOT hold zero. I'd avoid them.

Tantal is great to do business with. Buy from Mr. Ford and you will not be disappointed.
