Need help selecting scope

I have been a avid AR shooter for years and own many fine optics for these rifes (EO Tech, Aimpoint, ect.). I recently purchased a remington 700 in .308 and am looking for a scope. I have zero expeence with maginified optics. All the magazines and reviews I see seem to be a bout leupold which is a fine optic but I am looking for one with a MOA style reticle and possible a front focal plane. Is any on familiar with Night Force or US optics? Are they as ruged as the leupold? Also I have heard rumors that Schmitt and Bender may be coming out with a MOA reticle? I am willing to spend up to about $2500. Any comments and help would be appreciated.

If I were to have your budget, I would go with Nightforce. US Optics, Zeiss and S&B are also well recommended. I'm not sure which ones offer an MOA reticle though, as I am more of a mildot guy. Take a look at the optics forum over on SniperCentral. There is a lot of good info on high end scopes over there.

You are mentioning some high dollar scopes. For the kind of money they want for them, they should be. G27RR has you on the right track.
