Greetings, I recently acquired this holster and need some help in determining what firearm it was made for. Hopefully I'm not too inept to upload the pics I took. In case the pictures are not clear, the belt loop section, ( that the holster swivels on ) is marked AKAH 07/89. The holster is marked AKAH 7/88. On the inside of the holster where the barrel would rest is a rigid half round plastic liner that runs the full length (about six inches ). Any help would be appreciated, thanks. da V.

I'm gonna go West German SIG P-6 police holster too.

Mine is very similar, but the swivel system is different.

One things for sure though.
German engineering made fast access to the gun with one hand impossible without three hands!

And even if you get completely blown up by a IUD car bomb?

Your P6 pistol will still be perfectly safe in its holster, when they find the rest of your body parts! :D

Thanks for holster ID

Thanks to everyone for the information about my holster. A friend pegged it as German police but couldn't say what gun it was made for. This site never disappoints, thanks again. da V
