I bought a strange gun in a pawn shop. It is a percussion cap, turn barrel, and
smooth bores measuring .3575 and barrels are 3ans3/8 inches. Has a spur trigger
and grips with each panel held with a screw. To cap it, the barrel assembly
rotates 1/4 turn either left or right and is thrust forward 1/2 inch on its arbor.
A heavy spring detent prevents accidental rotation. There is no name or any
identification anywhere inside or out. It is very well fitted and finished with no
milling marks. No proof marks or anything. Help Please. I'll post pictures if I can ever figure out how.
