No. I ran across this years ago both makers use a cross-pin through the frame in addition to the grip screw to keep the grips from moving. The Smith cross-pin is in a different place than the Taurus. If you have wood grips, then you can just match up with the correct drill bit and put another hole in the frame face of each grip panel. I wouldn't do this with rubber grips. Also, I doubt if comparable size frames have the same gripframe between the two manufacturers (alot on these guns are similar, but enough is different to require specifically made parts).
