I found a box of 165 gr fmjfn in my stash. Bought a long time ago for 40SW. Anyway I want to use them in a 10MM XDM.. I had been shooting 180 grain with slow powders like Longshot, Power pistol. but want a wimp load as have no been shooting for a while

So... about the only powder I want to use is HP 38 (others I have are to fast of slow)

There is data for HP38 and 165 grain for 40 SW, so how do I extrapolate to use in the 10 mm? (much like the 38 special in a 357)? Increase it by say 10%??

Can I just use the max or start 40sw data for the start in the 10mm??

Load data gives a range of 6.3 -7.0 for 231 and a 165 FMJ
Sent you a screen shot.
Use at your own risk

You know you can shoot 40S&W rounds in 10mm? ;)

I would reference 40S&W load data until I get reliable slide cycling and spent case extraction/ejection.

Thank you, The one place I forgot to look Speer manual! And I forget they have online now:oops:
At least I was on the right track, they max 40 load was the start load for 10mm.
