hey peeps
I have a m69 and i'm wondering how in the world you remove the front sight and also i'd like to know where i can get spare mags? Can't find any info online so if some of you who are wiser could help me out i'd appreciate it :cool: thanks

I got some 'real Romanian mags'
and well, they ain't, sad thing is, the Taiwanese mags COULD be decent, if they had just stamped out the bolt catch.

google, some small lots come up every now and again, and I think triple K makes some, but um Triple K ain't know for quality.
 
so the pin at the bottom of the sight doesn't just come out?
 
yeah, but then you get to the carefully part, check to make sure they weren't also soldered, and those types of sights were usually put on hot, so the shrink and tighten down once set.

can't had to do with the mags
google, and just keep looking, like I said they come up, there usually are some on fleebay or gunbroker or Auction Arms, just realize the real mags have SHARP clear cuts at the Taiwanese mags are bulged, that's the problem, the tab isn't punched clean, a shim or some file work helps.
 
and when they don't take something thin like alunimum flashing or even pop cans, after you file the edges square (top and bottom) and insert it to the magwell to keep pressure on the catch, because it's the catch and the edge of the magwell that keeps them from going to deep and from falling out.

Also I found it was useful to shape the back of the top of the mag so the bolt could glide over it.
 
So do all of your mags only hold 5 rounds or do some hold 6? cuz mine holds 6.
And the main reason i want to remove the sight is to put a 10/22 muzzle brake on that a friend gave to me.
