Having problems locating the manual. It is a IAI 380 9mm KURZ backup.
My wife had the gun before we got married and I would like to find where to find the manual or hopefully someone will pm me with it. It jams on the last round. Thanks in advance for any help.

IIRC, IAI / AMT Back-UP .380 single action, there is a roll pin near the breech that has to be driven out side-to-side to allow the slide to be removed. I think the DA model came apart the same way but don't quote me on this.
New magazine spring time. Maybe check and smooth the feedramp if needed (mine had ridges in it).

Thanks

Thanks for the info.-I will try tomorrow and see if smoothing the ramp will help.
I like the way it fires--the trigger seems to release about the same each time. I know this make has a reputation for jamming and hope this will be the fix.

Got the roll pin out

I can not get the slide off. tried to push backwards and forwards and it hits stop both ways. Removed the grips and could not see a way that would allow me to get the slide off. Any advice would be welcome.

IAI back up

watched the video and have the bolt out.
Still can not get the slide to pull up.
The slide does not go forward as much as the video.

Any suggestions would be appreciated

I was looking for the same info.....mine is the AMT .380. Watched the video and it worked great for me. This was the first time I had it apart....fired it Saturday and it is pretty dirty. Before Saturday I hadn't fired the gun in 15 yrs, it performed almost flawlessly with only one ftf. This gun has had 50 rounds fired thru it since I bought it more than 25 yrs ago. Kinda sad!!! It will now go to my son when I pick up my P220 next week. They will both see more range time in the future.

Again thanks for the video, Ken

Found the problem
The hammer was not forward--would not dry fire and hammer stayed back which blocked the slide. Pushed hammer down with a small screw driver and the slide moved forward, removed slide. Then pulled trigger and the hammer came forward. Do not know why it would not dry fire.
