Does anybody have reload data on a .32 Remington? My father in-law recently acquired some dies for it but can't find any data. I figure someone on here is bound to have some old (version 1) reloading books with some data in it. Can't seem to find anything on it. He's new to reloading so I'd like to avoid the "necking down to....." or "he could neck it up to a....."

Thanks in advance,
DC

For all practical purposes, the .32 Remington is just a rimless .32 Winchester Special.

Almost any loading manual will have data for that.
The same load data can be used for both cartridges.

Speer actually states the data is interchangable from the Winchester to Remington 32s in their books.

+1 NCSmitty

RL-7 and IMR3031 are excellent powders for the .32 Rem (H322 would be another one). Keep in mind that this is not a high pressure round and the guns designed to shoot it are not super strong. Be safe and back off your starting loads 10% and work up.

dcinia, I don't understand your "neck up" "neck down" statement. Does your dad want advice on forming brass as well? Or, did you mean to not "load up" or "load down" -- like extrapolating loads from some other cartridge?

For us handloaders to "neck" means something very specfic.
