Alright. I'm torn between either a suppressed 9mm Ar or a suppressed 223 AR. Theres drawbacks and advantages for each choice for different reasons and I simply can't decide. The rifle will have two purposes: competition and SHTF. At this point the 9mm Ar is what I'm leaning for because I can use it for both rifle shotgun night (9mm is alright) and steel shooting. My only worry is concerning the stopping power of the 9. The 223. is bigger medicine, but I wouldn't use it as much as the 9. Is the 9mm really as ineffective as a defense round as I think it is? Can anyone help me decide?
