Need please the difference between mods 31 and32 both are for s&w

I am new here and hope to share in the knowledge. I have multiple weapons, most for hunting and home defense. I have thousands of rounds put down on the kd courses. I am hoping to visit this sight and grab some info that could be helpful.

model 31 is a square grip 32 smith and wesson long revolver and the model 32 is a round butt 38 s&w revolver also known as a terrier. the model 32 is 38 s&w NOT 38 special. different cartridge. depending on when they were made the model 31 and the model 32 could be either an I frame or a J frame.
