Can't afford the tolls to get out of Chicago
I need a source for an sp1 ar15 --no assist, slabsides, a1 sights, delta handgard, etc. The only ones I have found are complete rifles(way expensive) and I only need the upper. Also, where do I get that pin that makes the two fit, I have a new lower and there is some conversion thing I need to get. Any info would be appreciated, thanks.

Sarco Inc has an add in Shotgun News for M16A1 style uppers, I think that is what LastBoyScout is referring to. Also, check out Fulton Armory, I know they have a M16A1 rifle called the Legacy. I'm not sure if they sell just the upper though.

Thanks guys, that is EXACTLY what I am looking for. I think I'll have to order it from fulton or something. I like the one at gun brokers but it needs to be shipped to an FFL(not sure why) and I am leaving for Colorodo really soon. Info is very much appreciated.

CDNN is including A1 stocks and buffer assemblies with those SP1 uppers, too, but the uppers have a tear drop forward assist.

I wish I had some money.

Check the equipment exchange on AR-15.com. In the used parts section there is a guy selling M-16 uppers for something like $290 with A1 furniture.
