We're organizing a local Block Shoot at my club, and I need help locating some targets.

They are smaller sized pieces of paper with 2 X's on them. One main X, and a smaller X in the corner for a tie-breaker. I'm not a shotgunner, or a block shoot enthusiast. But my understanding is these targets are what those shoots commonly use. I'm having a terribly tough time tracking down a place to buy them. Anyone who shoots these events that can put me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it.

For those who don't know what I'm talking about, or use different terms to describe it. This is a fun event, not really a competition as it is a game of chance, where guys shoot their shotgun at this target, and the guy, or gal, who has a pellet closest to the center of the X wins the pot.

i never heard of this before, but it sounds fun. i did a quick google search and came up with the following link which kinda describes the whole thing and has a pic of the type of targets they used:

targets seem similar to what you describe, but don't have the smaller 'x'. in any case, they look simple enough to make homemade in no time.

ETA: check out here: http://www.turkeyshoot.net and click on "target gallery" and scroll to the right, the second from the right is this:

is that it?

Yes, that's it.

I found that target, too. I just don't know where to buy some. I'd rather not do them home-made. This is a club sponsored event, and I need something that's good quality, especially when we're talking pots of money on the line.

Print out the target on your home printer.

Then take the master copy to Kinko's.

They can make a gazillion high-quality copies of them on bank-note paper if that's what you want it to be on!

I know I can print these at a local copy shop if I wanted to. I'm not going to do that, though.

My club has roughly 1000 members, and we're letting anyone who shows this month shoot up to 5 times. We're trying to keep the cost manageable, but I need something heavier than standard copy paper from Kinkos.

If push comes to shove, I'll take the copy of the picture I have downloaded to the shop that prints my club's newsletters and have them do it. That's going to be more expensive, and I want to keep the costs down so the pot is attractive. The winner splits the pot with the club, so the cheaper I can do this the more money we have for both us and the winner.

I'm sure it will cost less to buy a thousand cards from a target supplier than to pay to have a special run printed up. I'm really looking for a place to buy them.
