When I got home from Iraq two weeks ago, I treated myself to my dream pistol...the Springfield Armory MC Operator.
After my 10-day wait, I picked her up, cleaned her, put a Surefire X300 on her, and took her to the range today with over 200 rounds in my range bag.
The pistol is VERY tight and shoots tight groups. I put all my rounds through her with zero failures, malfunctions, jams, stoppages, or misfires. She shoots like a dream...other than the fact that she groups high and right.
My POA was center-mass of your typical human silhouette at 7 yards. My POI was just outside the top of the orange box and about 2 inches right. The POI remained the same with/without the Surefire X300 mounted.
It's not a matter of my shooting proficiency, it is the weapon itself. My buddy bought the same gun at the same time and he was shooting his today for the first time as well. I fired his pistol immediately after firing mine and his weapon hits POA.
What are my options to correct this? I absolutely love this gun...HELP!
