Need trigger work done on S&W 22A

anyone know of a gunsmith who works on 22A S&W pistols?

I need the trigger lightened, and am afraid to attempt it myself.

I so not know of any. The 22A was designed to be smiths value model while their Model 41 their high end target model. Unfortunately there wasn't much in between. That's not to say the 22A is not a good 22. My best friend has one and loves it. He put a red dot on it and tears up our plinking objects with it.

I'd just accept it for what it is and spend money on ammo and practice.

I agree. I have field stripped it and see that all there is to it is a disconnector that unhooks from the slide itself as you press the trigger. so not much to work on here.

try frank,s&w factory repair station.tell him it's a gritty crappy trigger in email.they might tune it for free under warranty??????????????

thanks. looked at my owners manual and saw we have an S&W center here called Bolsa Gunsmithing and I am going to do exactly what you suggest. or do you think I should use LSG because you had experience with them and they are good?
