Whitey; I have no experience with IJ barrels, but have this perspective: How much do they want for it?
Some of the best barrels out there can be had for about $100-150. If its' being billed as some sort of an antique-don'tmake-em-like-this-anymore wonder, its' because there is better stuff out there currently, and yes, they do. If its' a 20-40$ impulse buy, then you might or might not have something nice; depends on if it fits and shoots in your gun safely.
Did I say safely? If your question has to do with safety, its' not a bargain at any price.
