One of many owners now i guess.

Not too exciting but i bought my first shotgun, an 870 express, 12 gauge 28" barrel. Looking forward to shooting clay pigeons, rabbits, squirrels and upland birds with it.

Had a tough time deciding between the black synthetic and wood stock.....picked the black and now wish i woulda went with the wood. oh well.

I own the synthetic and the wood stock models as well as the youth 20 guage...........The wood stock looks nice but mine actually lost the finish on the forearm stock........Not sure what caused this.....The youth model has been shot and handled much more than the 12 guage and the wood stocks on it are great...........................I love my 870's...................You should check out the youth model, they are so fun to shoot.........Go to www.walmart.com , you can purchase them for around 220.00

Enjoy your new shotgun............

You will like the gun. If it makes you feel better I prefer the synthetic because of the checkering. Now if they start making the Express with real checkering rather than that ugly pressed stuff I would change my mind.
