Picked this up on Gun Broker the other day. Kahr PM9 MM. I wanted a Kahr P.380 but there is an 8-10 month wait out here where I live. I bought the PM9 instead. I like it. It is just a tiny bit bigger than the P.380. It is smaller than the Walther PPK that I normally carry. Plus, I get a better round.:neener:

good buy, enjoy it and I hope you get lot of years of service out of that pistol.

hows it feel when you shoot? Recoil?

I would love a PM9, but after shooting the smaller LCP (which felt like it was gonna pop/slide out of my hand), i realized a gun that small might be no fun to shoot.

Just didnt feel like I could grip it well. How's that one in comparison?

kahr PM 9 MM

The Kahr is real easy to shoot, recoil is NOT a problem even with +P's. Chrono data out of the PM 9 3" Barrel below:
Ammo was Remington Golden Sabre 124 Gr JHP's +P.

1024 fps
1064
1017
1044
999

PM9

Hi , I have carried a Kahr PM9 since January and have well over 1,000 trouble free rounds threw it. I load it with Speer gold dots 124gn+P and find the recoil less evident than when shooting My LCP loaded with 102gr Golden Sabres. Carries very easily also using My Comp-Tac IWB holster, I have a nemisis pocket holster but find it to large to carry with jeans in my front pocket. My LGS had a little problem finding the one I wanted, but finally located it and I paid $648sumthin OTD. Same shop 8 months later has them under glass for $725 and I hear there selling. Here is mine wrapped in a Houge Handall Jr compared to My phone. Later WVleo

Im looking to buy a CW9 and while drooling over that at my local shop was a P380 next to it marked at $599.I was really surprised to see one so soon.
It looks almost a good 50% smaller than a the CW9,the Sig p238 is about the same size tho.

I have both the LCP and the Kahr. The LCP is alot more to handle than the Kahr. I am not accurate with it yet (Kahr) but I am new to shooting. It is my issue, not the gun.

I used to carry a Stainless Walther PPK .380 for like ten years till I got the Kahr PM9. In the Walther I carried Remington Golden Sabre 102gr JHP's. The Kahr is like half the weight loaded as the Walther and it's in 9 MM. The Kahr PM9 is smaller than the PPK in some regards........The PM9 has much better sights than the Walther. I like my Walther but is an old design. I will continue shooting the PPK but I will carry the PM9. I don't think the PM9 is as snappy as the Walther. I have a CZ-82 and a Polish P-64 in 9X18 and those have a lot more of a jolt than the Walther, especially the P-64. I got my PM9 off Gun Broker last week new for $675.00 with night sights.
