i went to the range to test my new AK for accuracy, i know the average group from an ak is 3-5 inches at 100 yards, but i would like to hear what you guys think about my groups  is that good, bad, average?, ohh and one more thing there are some .22lr shots to that target but i mark them BLUE and the once from the AK are RED, and the others outside the target. were on purpose.

Weapon: AK47 with Red-Dot
Caliber: 7.62X39 "123gr FMJ Golden Tiger"
Distance" 100 yards

Congrats on the new AK

And good shooting, looks like a WASR-10 you've got there? I think that is probably the type of accuracy you can expect from that rifle. All of those are kill shots. Your's looks like it has the threaded barrel so you can take that nut off and add a muzzle brake if you ever decide you want one. I have a post ban model with no bayonet lug or muzzle threads but it is a FUN rifle. That target looks like you were taking your time on a steady rest. To know the joy of that gun You need to load up a full mag and let 30 rounds go real fast! Can't beat it.:D

hehehe.... not really, i was shooting in the kneeling position and i take like 3-5 seconds between shots.

hehehe yeah i did that... bang bang bang... but my group get more wide.

Sounds bout right. The AK isn't meant to be a SUPER ACCURATE firearm. But wait a minute or two. someone will come along boasting about how their AK can make sub-MOA shots with their eyes closed.

The wife and I have 4 AK's (M70AB2,Lancaster NDS-3,1975 Bullpup and an SLR-107CR) dscottw88,all bought from local stores (see your from Vegas too) nope, didnt get no sub-moa's and didnt expect to...but we sure do love they way they handle...fine looking and shoots darned good.

sarduy...nice AK you have there...looks a lot like my lancaster (dont know a whole LOT about AK's yet)is it a WASR?Thinking about buying a WASR 10 on Monday....

Yes, it's a Wasr-10 from classicArms. but i refinish the wood with a Honey-Color Finnish.
