New ammo and gun store in Lakewood, WA - bulk ammo at great prices!

Went to Tactical Tailor today and noticed a new place right behind them. Surplus Ammo & Arms has only been open a short while:

GREAT prices on ammo, especially in bulk. Very similar prices to ammoman.com and other mail order places. Looks like they've got some interesting weapons too. I was in a hurry but bought some ammo and was very pleased to find out about this place.

The manager's name is Jeff Caron; seemed like a nice guy. I'm looking forward to going back and spending some time (and undoubtedly some money) there.

Thanks for the heads up 45. Always good to find nice local brick and mortar outfits to patronize.
I've been reluctant to drive to the south end for anything with the high gas prices, but now it might be worth it. I love the small shops here in Snohomish county, and patronize them all, but it would be nice to get a "discount" shop nearer to home.

I don't get down that way much either, except maybe once in a while for a WAC Show at Puyallup. However, I'll probably make a special trip from up here in SnoCo to check them out sometime soon.

Another hidden gem in Tacoma is Mary's Pistols on South Tyler. Great prices on ammo and guns, and absolutely wonderful customer service as well.

I think they've been doing the gun show circuit for a while and decided to open a store front. It is nice to see places that stock bulk ammo at reasonable "cash and carry" prices.
