I was watching American Shooter the other day and just caught a glimpse of a show spotlight on a new ammo.

Corbon has a new line out called Powr Ball. Looks like a hollow point with a polymer ball to form the nose.

Makes feeding easier.

At first I thought they had copied the RBCD but this just uses the poly ball to form the nose instead of causing the filler to expand.

Interesting idea anyway.

It's actually been out for a little while, but hasn't hit the shelves of any of the shops around my town.
It's a great idea for those who live in locations that forbid the use of hollowpoints or for those who have handguns that only feed FMJ reliably. It may also cater to those who are concerned of over-penetration.

Personally, I don't think I'll ever have a use for them, as I am allowed to use JHPs and my carry handguns do feed JHP fodder reliably.
Also, I don't live in a highly urbanized environment, so over-penetration isn't a pressing issue.

Interesting concept, but I think I'll stick with my 230gr Golden Sabers.
