The civvy version has been available for quite a while now, local shop here had one last year.

Same old Stoner design.
Full auto not legal for civilians.
Suppressors not legal without a ton of hassle.

Barret can turd polish all it wants, but 90 percent of the things that make that gun worth getting are off limits to most readers on this board. Otherwise its just a mall-ninjaed AR15 with a 6.8 upper.

Wouldnt mind getting one of those 20 or 30mm rifles tho.

Throw on a RAS-II Shot Show Special: $270.

Pretty nice 6.8mm SPC carbine for $954 + S/H + transfer on the lower.

Oops, add $140 for a folding rear sight, or $100 for a carry handle and ditch the RAS-II. Or ditch the RAS-II for something else.

I plan to buy one of those uppers sooner or later.

What the heck is a RAS-II Shot Show Special? How does it differ from the KAC RAS II?

Soooo, what does this rifle have that RobArms new rifle doesn't have? Just curious. It was a lot cheaper last I looked.
