My Bearcat came in today.I had time to fire Aquila and Norma 40 grain LR. My target was 7 yards. It was POA POI. Very pleased so far. Byron

looks like any other blued Ruger Bearcat. Really pleased with it. As arthrits affects my hand now,it is a pleasure to be able to continue shooting.

Sweet revolvers! I've always wanted one but this amo problem has left the .22 LR impossible to locate! What a shame! The most popular caliber round in the world, and "THEY" make it unattainable!
Yea I got caught short on RF's I got 2 new shotguns and was gathering up ammpo for them also I just got two .38 Specials and was buying and learning to reload for them. Everything stretched the budget! AND worst of all I was very low on RF's Less than 500!
Whoops!
Ruger has come out with yet another really nice Bearcat model! It's a 3 1/2" bbl model with birdshead grips if I remember right?
What a neat pocket gun or trail gun!
It may be one of those special 3editions only one store carries I dunno?
With the increawing cost and no availibity of .22 RF, I feel more secure stocpiling up for my Chief's Special, at least my Vaquero, my Model 10HB and my O/Uderringer can shoot the same ammo!
I have a Davis .22 derringer (the small frame one) and over the years have put thousands of rounds through it, especally CBCaps! No problems at all
1 I can natch tht gun up with my Single SIx and any of many .22 rifles.
I like owning "sets" of guns.
The way the laws are going wrong, you'd better hurry up and buy that Bearcat! At least you can say you "had" one...
Good luck

ZVP, you are referring to the Shopkeeper. This was made for Lifseys.

I love my new bearcat. I added a set of sack petersen stags, it has quickly become my favorite 22. I added a wolf reduced power spring, but I believe that was a waste of money. Great little revolver, and a fun challenge to shoot well. Mine loves CCI standard velocity ammo.

How's the action?

The originals had, arguably, one of the smoothest actions of any single action revolver.
