New Beretta! 380/32

Appears to have the best sights I've seen on a micro-pistol. I already have a P32 and a TCP 738 but I still might buy a Pico.
 
I have a "larger" gun. Now I need a "smaller" gun. Hopefully, eventually I can obtain this piece. I like it...
 
I will probably pick one up to go with my Nano, but I'll wait 6 months to a year unless I hear no complaints from early adopters about reliability.
 
I like the high visibility sights and the overall size. Don't really need a .32 conversion right now but nice to know it is available.
 
I've been delighted with my Nano, so I'll probably add a Pico to the lineup as well. Probably not as a primary sidearm but it would be a nice BUG. It would probably also be a good pocket gun for "lazy carry" in circumstances where you might not bother strapping on a gun belt and holster.

Given the nature of modern marketing, and the fact that most products now seem to be beta-tested by the early adopters, it might not be a bad idea to wait a few months but I'll probably just try one as soon as I find one. They're not supposed to be very expensive in the first place.
 
The .380/.32 conversion factor doesn't do anything for me (why would you want to switch to a smaller, weaker cartridge in the same size gun?), but it does look like a nice pocket gun with good sights. I'd be interested in seeing some side-by-side reviews of the Pico compared to some of the current crop of pocket .380's
 
If the .32acp magazine held more rounds than the .380, that might be a selling point, but it doesn't. .32 isn't much, if any cheaper than .380 and less common at the big box stores. And unless I missed something, .32 isn't better in any way over the .380.

Switching calibers isn't saving any money for the shooter, isn't increasing available rounds in the magazine, nor does it have better stopping power. This gun is not for me.
 
Love the sights. Appreciate the caliber change option.

The gun seems big and looks weirdly top-heavy. I don't see how it can compete with the existing pocket .380s, but maybe it feels better in the hand that it looks.

Is the conversion so that you can switch to a weaker caliber for carry? Or is it, perhaps, so that you can practice more with lighter recoil of a .32, and then bump up to .380 for carry, the way many people do with the .40/9mm conversions.

Look, Beretta is really late to market here, as every other company in the known universe now makes pocket autos, but hey, if you're gonna be late to the party, at least bring some good stuff, and it looks like they may have done just that.

It might be during todays ammo shortages?
It's so you can double your chances of finding some kind of ammo somewhere it will shoot?
