New Beretta carbine

They're black, might lean tward blue-black (as opposed to a brown-black) under very intense light. It's feature rich for a carbine and WAY cheaper than a UMC (once supply meets demand of course). I've handled the UMC as well and between the two it's a toss-up as to which I like better. If I were spending money, the Storm wins hands down due to the price differance.

The storm (in 9mm at least) has high-caps available for it without an expensive conversion (and starting price is about half as well). It's shorter OAL since the magazine is in the grip and not in front of the trigger. Ergos are good but charging isn't nearly as handy or quick on the CX4. Reversable ejection is a big plus for the lefty shooters out there.

Interesting gun but I took my carbine in the .223 flavor :) It was neat to see one in person, I would have loved to disassemble it and gaze at the inards but I didn't want to push my luck ;)

I expect wholesale price on the CX4 is somewhere around $515...got mine for $576 from a dealer who usually charges about 10% over cost plus shipping.

Needless to say, his shop probably sells the most guns of anyone in this State.

I just got back from the bullet hole and I too was caught by this carbine. It feels right.... $650 is alot of money though. I really like it's ability to take 92fs mags. Front sight was alittle off though.

Kamicosmos, when do you and black snowman usually shoot at TBH? (be funny if I've met either of you without knowing)

There were no less than 2 of them at the Nashville gun show this past weekend. On Saturday the prices were $650 & $649.99. On Sunday, the first dealer dropped his price to $625. His shop is right down the street from my apartment and IIRC, he's had it sitting there for two or three weeks.

They definitly look like something out of Star Wars. From what I saw, they seem pretty decent though. Maybe someday.
