New Bersa BP9cc

I sold a few firearms and accessories over the last few weeks to recover some funds and rearrange my collection. Anyway, I needed something for EDC the was inexpensive and reliable. (I'm also spoiled by the triggers on my SR9's)
I went through all the usual suspects, with all the usual reasons why I'd rather not own one of them or couldn't afford them(Kahr ). Then I came across an incredible find. The new Bersa BP9cc its the perfect size for carry, fits in the holsters I have for Kahr PM/CM9, holds 8+1 rounds of 9mm, rated for +P, feels and looks very well built, can take Sig/Glock sights and is well under $400 with two mags. All I could read says reliability is excellent, range report to come.
The best part gets its own line. The trigger is phenomenal.
It has a short take up(that is actually releasing a trigger safety), glass rod, positive break, no slack, then an incredibly short reset. It has to be one of the best out of box handgun triggers I've ever felt.

Nice pick up, I like Bersa but got tired of waiting for this gun to arrive so I moved on.

I look forward to a range report and if you have a pic or the Bersa next to the Kahr or SR9 it would be appreciated since there is very little info on Bersa's newest enty here in the states.

Look forward to your range report, nothing but stellar performance out of my old man's Thunder .380 after break in, have the .22 on order for my Eldest's birthday.

I've had my eye on the .45 UC version, but no experience with the 9mm/.40 full size ones.

Lifetime warranty follows you as first purchaser, but we've yet to need it on the old man's gun. Unlike his Taurus .22.

Now go shoot the snot out of it, no-one wants a snotty gun.

I just ordered an LC9 and this was a close #2 on my list.

The LC9 was going to be my choice.....but, in all honesty I can't stand the LC9's trigger. The Bp9cc trigger is so much better its ridiculous, as is the general feel of the gun. They are, for all intents and purposes the same size with the Bersa having a little more grip length.
I should be shooting it later tonight....

I got one in Nov. '11. http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?t=628413 I want to like it, but am not satisfied with its reliability. (There are more details in the thread.) I haven't had the time, inclination or money for range fees and ammo to do anything with it. I completely agree, however, with your comments about its appearance, fit and finish and especially the trigger. Member JBabbler also has one and likes it, with no reliability problems reported.

@ The Lone Haranguer.....Not sorry to say I experienced no functional problems what so ever in this Bersa's first 200 rounds last night.

I ran 50 CCI Blazer, 50 PMC Bronze, 50 WWB, 30 Independence(factory reman.), some really light target loads my buddy had brewed up and 10 Critical Defense 115g. All lit off and cycled without issue, even the light loads fired at the end of the session. The pistol is a solid shooter. I'm satisfied that mine works, if anything happens as round count goes up, I'll keep the post updated.
Its also decently accurate...the three finger grip and killer trigger probably help. The pistol can rip....It is surprisingly fast on follow up, the reset is so quick I had a few "Whoa!" moments until I got used to it...
As for shooting, I pretty much agree with what The Lone Haranguer wrote, the BP9cc has a sharp recoil but does not squirm around or have excessive muzzle flip.
The cons:
I also got some minor "trigger pinch" between the trig and trig guard. There is a slight seem on the inside of the guard so I'm going to hit it with some 1000/1500 grit sandpaper.....I'm sure this will end the pinch issue. The mag release is difficult to manipulate and stiff, it takes a concentrated effort to drop the mag. Hopefully this will work out over time.

Here's the BP9cc's typical 5 shot group, off hand, slow, with 115g WWB ammo @ 8-10yrds out. The target was also swaying some from the exhaust fans (sry I've haven't cleaned the gun yet)
Below is a comparison with a Ruger SR9 and LCP.

i have the same gun and love it has never jamed on me besides using reloads but id like to trick it out with some aftermarket parts like guide rode and slide cover cuz that well break on u it did me after putting 1000 rounds in but thats the only problem i had other than the best gun u can buy for 400bucks
