Just received this new holster I ordered from Blackpoint Tactical for my Sig P320 Compact. I wore it CCW today for the first time and thought I would share my observations.
This is the Leather Wing holster, which seems to combine the best features of both leather and kydex. The shell is kydex specifically molded for the P320C. The back (wings) are leather which allows the holster to flex and conform to the body. Blackpoint offers a variety of color combinations. I chose the Killer Coyote carbon fiber look for the shell and brown leather for the wings. I ordered it with the forward cant instead of straight drop as the forward cant conceals better.
The gun fits perfectly, with that satisfying "click" you get with kydex holsters. There is a retention adjustment screw to fine-tune the fit. I wore the holster with my 1.5" Wilderness Tactical 5-stitch instructors belt. My preferred method of CCW carry is OWB at 3:00. The holster pulled the gun tight to the body for maximum concealment and was very comfortable.
I am a self-proclaimed "holster junkie". I like high-end, custom holsters for my guns. This is my first Blackpoint Tactical holster, and Blackpoint will now be my go-to brand for custom kydex holsters. Overall, I prefer leather holsters, but this makes a nice compromise.
