Just saw the movie and have some bones to pick. Willis' character is shooting a Glock 19 (?) left handed and supposedly the slide cuts the web of his hand. I do not handle Glocks, but on other semi autos the injury comes on the supporting hand when it is wrapped too high around the back of the trigger hand. Am I in need of education?

Full size glocks rip my shooting hand open at the knuckle joint of the hand and thumb. It’s that stupid divot with the raised edges.

As a very academic Germanic friend once said "Aha! Now I grasp the gravity of the situation." He wasn't talking the Glock 7 joke but rather why a cute gal had given him an evil look for something he said. But that's okay. Applies equally.

Now I'm confused. Are you back to talking about "Deathwish" or the Glock 7 reference from "Die Hard 2"?

Saw the movie yesterday and it could bite you if your a newbie AND never fired under stress.

But losing the gun is unlikely, just a bit of skin [ been 'bit' a few times as a young shooter ].

And why the did not find any DNA at the scene is just Hollywood ,being Hollywood.

All in all,I loved the movie as I am a fan of Willis and most all that he has done.

At least as good as Bronson, and his face that never changed expressions.

Hope there is a at least one more followup.

Is there at least some kind of ridiculous handgun involved, a Desert Eagle, even?

DW sans mustache & automag just isn't DW

Folks want to watch a virulent anti-gun Bruce? Have at it, I'll pass like I did on the NFL, NBA, Oscars and Olympics.........what he uses is made-up Hollywood fantasy stuff from the special effects group.....

You think that is stretching reality. Check out the movie, "Killers", with Lee Marvin. They screw a can on a revolver that is the size of a beer can. Same sound....!!!!

Never even heard of the movie... That said, are you asking if slide bite is a reality?

My bone to pick is what occurs in Kersey's basement at the very end. He had bought some legal Cook Co. IL guns, and when he is about to get greased by the last mutt....he hits the button on the hide-a-gun coffee table and pulls out a full auto AR.....
