Some where within the past six months or so, I saw a link to a new presumably Italian firearms that had an extra long cylinder and no barrel.

Can't remember anything about it. Any one have the infor?

Can't wait for these to hit the market... I think one loaded with some no. 4 shot would be a great feral cat catcher.

Just a thought...

Pictures near the end of the thread. I used the THR search function with "pepperbox" in the search.

To me it looks like a solution looking for a problem. Six shots is six shots - whether you shoot them through six barrels or shoot 'em all through the same barrel.

Chas, due to the ridiculous nature of our Keystone state wild life officials, we cannot use certain guns for hunting. Our options are simply center fire, rim fire and muzzleloading. A cap and ball revolver does not load from the muzzle, but from the front of the chamber. The EMF offerring is indeed a revolving muzzle loader in every sense of the definition muzzle loader.

While in your state, they may actually have wild life officials who are informed about firearms, we are not so lucky. That EMF muzzle loader, would solve a problem. If there was a way to put a front sight on it, even better.

zimm, the game gestapo 'round here said the ROA can't be used because it is '.44' and not a .45.
They said.."get Ruger to change thier designation".

IIRC Ruger did change the designation that's right on the box label
from .44 to .45.
I'm not sure what year that occurred, but that may not help you any.

Sidetrack, but yes - for being such a pro-hunting state, PA has some rediculously stupid hunting gun laws. I'm not sure that this pepperbox is the solution to that, or to anything, but if it makes you happy I say more power to you.
