These are my first double/singles,Ive avoided them in the past
Because of the learning two pulls.I usually carry a 1911 or a Glock and like both.I recently sold a Sig 238 as while a nice little gun it doesent do anything my PM9 wont do.
So I had a litle money burnning a whole in my pocket and made the mistake of handeling a po1,and it went home with me.
I made a mistake in letting my gal shoot it,She usually prefers her G17 to most anything not anymore lost it on the spot. She loved the ergos and it fit her well. Her fist shot was at my 60yd 12x16" steel and hit it,I said lets see you do that again and she did 4 more times.
Went Sunday and bought myself one,Put 300rns mixed fmj/jhp
o failures,very accurate,good pointability.
Mine will do carry duty after the trigger work and new grips are done. This is a nice pistol but the trigger as is is less than great.I had a hard time locating holsters so I order an (IWB)From UBG hopefully it turns out to be a good one.
Now I have to find some thin good wood grips.Suggestions on the grips are wellcome,The rubber shoot nice but are a little sticky with my shirts.

You can try a snap cap and a lot of single action dry firing to get that single action trigger to smooth out. I must have dry fired my PCR 400 times and put another 300 live rounds down the barrel before my trigger got nice and smooth. It still has that camming of the hammer, but if you learn to shoot it with a quick-even-pull of the trigger you won't notice the camming any more. If you shoot it like a SA revolver or 1911 for target precision, you will notice the camming.

I like a lot of the wood grips out there being offered. Currently, I'm holding out for some G10 Micarta grips from VZ grips. They only make the Tactical Diamond type for the Compact 75 series. I really would like the Frag or Diamond Backs instead. So, the waiting continues. :p

Also, very good CZ holsters can be had from High Noon, like this Slide Guard,(P-07 example)

Or inside the waistband, like this Down Under with straps, (SP-01 Phantom example),

Congrats on the czoice, great sidearm!

I hear you on the NIB triggers. Once I discovered how nice the CZs trigger can be made, I haven't been able to keep any of my CZ's stock for very long before I end up doing some custom work. Congratulations on the pair of new guns - you made a fine choice. :)

On my similar PCR, I put thin cocobolo wood grips on it.

They came from CZ Custom in Mesa, AZ. They now sell thin aluminum grips, but those are a little more than I want to spend right now.

My father purchased a set of original CZ grips ceckered cocobolo just like the one posted by The Lone Haranguer. This doesn't affect the grip and increased the look of the pistol. We also put a set of good Uncle Mike's screws because the stock ones sucks. Very good traditional gun in my opinion.

Gotta post my PCR too. The thin CZ Cocobolo grips are wonderful!
I hated the standard grip screws too.... went with some torx screws.
