In the last week I've picked up two new rimfire rifles.
That's a (very dirty) Marlin 70PSS Papoose .22LR and a CZ452 Varmint .22WMR. The Marlin is used, traded a Ruger Single Six for it. The CZ is new, and it shows. The action is still stiff, doesn't want to feed out of the magazine all the time, etc. Wouldn't hurt it to be cleaned and oiled. I have a scope for the CZ but no rings because the guy at Sportsman's Warehouse thought they were the special CZ type; it takes 3/8" standard dovetail groove type. I have a set of rings for the Marlin, and I'm going to mount a handgun scope on there to keep it compact and portable. The Marlin gives very tight groups with the ammo that I've tried so far (Federal 40gr GameShok FMJ) and I've very pleased with it. I'm itching to try the CZ this weekend, hope the weather holds up.
